Case Study
Objective
Build a cross-platform music experience that unifies Spotify, Apple Music, and SoundCloud into a single interface, leveraging OAuth 2.0 integrations and AI-driven personalization to reimagine how users discover and interact with music across platforms.
Process
My approach to Ora.fm centered on solving fragmentation in music consumption. I designed and developed a React Native application using TypeScript, integrating multiple streaming APIs through secure OAuth flows.
I structured the system to normalize data across platforms, enabling seamless playlist aggregation and unified playback experiences. I also explored AI-assisted features for playlist curation and aesthetic generation, enhancing user engagement beyond traditional streaming apps.
Development followed an iterative MVP-first approach, with continuous refinement based on usability testing and performance optimization across devices.
Outcome
Ora.fm demonstrates my ability to build scalable, user-focused systems that integrate multiple third-party services into a cohesive product.
The project strengthened my skills in API orchestration, mobile-first design, and authentication workflows, while also showcasing my ability to blend engineering with product vision and user experience.
